Our Story
At Sinclair Digital, we make the most energy-efficient building solutions. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to design and implement new technologies that help our clients reduce their carbon footprint and provide a more modern, streamlined experience for their guests or employees. This timeline highlights some of the key milestones in our journey towards creating a more sustainable and technologically advanced future for the hospitality sector.
2016/2017
Designed PoE lighting for hospitality.
2018
Influenced Somfy to develop PoE motorized shading for window treatments. Influenced Dometic to develop thermoelectric minibar. Powered electric mirror displays within bathroom vanity mirror at The Sinclair. Powered network switches with VoltServer (a first in the industry).
2019
We installed the first lithium-ion energy storage system in a commercial setting, marking a significant milestone for the industry (UL 924).
February 2020
The Sinclair Hotel opens as the world’s first all-digital hotel.
February 2020
Sinclair Digital LLC was established. We were contracted to design and install the Marcel hotel, the country’s first net-zero hotel.
April 2021
We converted to Sinclair Digital Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
May 2021
The Marcel Hotel, the first net-zero hotel in North America is launched.
August 2022
Developed Agile Core Version 1.0.
September 2022
Southwire announces a new commercial investment in Sinclair Digital Services, Inc.
January 2023
Southwire office at Battery Park, Atlanta is completed.
June 2023
Agile Core 2.0 is Launched with Luum.io XPoE Technology.
