The central command and control hub – housing core servers, firewall security, and WAN connectivity – that delivers safe, long-distance power and robust data directly to BITS™ Edge IDFs. Every HEADEND includes PowerView™,a locally hosted, zero-subscription software, at no additional cost. PowerView™ delivers real-time power intelligence, remote control, and open integration from day one.

The AGILE-CORE™HEADEND powers and interconnects remote BITS™ Edge IDFs. The HEADEND may reside in the Main Electrical Room, a Main Distribution Frame – telecommunications room (MDF), or split between both. The HEADEND powers remote BITS™ Edge IDFs using thin gauge copper cable with Fault Managed Power (FMP). Its transmission mechanism allows its copper cabling to be installed without metal conduit and shared in data communication pathways. Power and data cables are then combined within the AGILE-CORE™ hybrid copper and fiber cable to move power and data to the remote BITS™ Edge IDFs.

PowerView™ ships as standard software on the always-included Sinclair Digital Server that comes with every AGILE-CORE® HEADEND.
